Jacob Binder
Attorney
Jacob is an Attorney with Kneupper & Covey and has been practicing law since 2023. For Jacob, practicing law is about leveling the playing field. Jacob believes that everyday people should have access to the same quality of legal representation as large, well-resourced corporations. As a litigator, Jacob most enjoys working with his clients to help them voice their rights as consumers and remedy the harms they have faced from predatory corporate conduct.
Before joining Kneupper & Covey, Jacob worked as an eviction defense attorney in San Francisco as part of the city’s Tenant Right to Counsel program. Jacob is a 2023 graduate of University of California, Berkeley School of Law. Jacob completed his third year of law school at Harvard Law, where he won the Harvard Law 2023 LGBTQ+ Writing Prize for his independent law article on San Francisco’s response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Prior to law school, Jacob graduated magnum cum laude from Brown University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy and Economics.
Jacob is barred in California only.
Outside of work, Jacob enjoys reading fiction and poetry and spending time in nature.
